Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications and project standards
2. Ensure timely completion of business application coding within project schedule
3. Compliance of development functions to System Development Guideline and Standards.
4. Quality of systems developed and implemented according to system specifications and user require-ments.
5. Constant communication with team lead/members/users/vendors
6. Keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environ-ment.
Requirements
Key Requirements
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field and type of application.
3. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills as well as detail oriented
4. Good in verbal and written English communication skills
5. Ability to multi-task, prioritizing in managing workloads and to meet deadlines
6. Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology
7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Experience in Insurance Industry is an added advantage
9. Technical Skillset :
i. Required experience in IBM ODM or any experience in Business Rule Engine like DROOLS, Ca-munda, etc.
ii. Required secure code knowledge and experience in development using these knowledge.
Experience in JBOSS server and tomcat server environment; including on troubleshooting issue at the servers.
iv. Good Knowledge in JSON, RESTFUL API, Web Services
V. Understanding of Microservices Architecture design
vi. Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise high-volume transactional application with cross-browser compatibility, and end-to-end system integration are an added advantage.
vii. Experience in Maven and CLI Build scripts is an added advantage
viii. Experience in DevOps tools like Jira, and Jenkins is an added advantage
