JOB PURPOSE :
To ensure that identified critical business processes are recovered in accordance with the defined recovery strategies following the disaster recovery plans in the event of an incident that renders the processing center inoperable and a formal disaster declaration made.

· Ensure recoverability and workability of DR IT system infrastructure in accordance with the defined recovery strategy.

· Assist to collate and update recovery plans and procedures for review and approval. · Assist to Develop and improve DR testing strategy · Assist to plan, coordinate and execute mandatory/ adhoc DR testing. · Assist to improve and rectify any system or process shortcoming identified during testing.

· Enable business unit to continue to support critical business functions/ operations in the event of disaster declaration. |

· Ensure DR Plan development is in line with the bank recovery strategy requirement. |
· Participate and assist in Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis review. · Assist to collate and recovery strategy information for review and documentation. · Assist to update and maintain plan to ensure currency.

· Ensure documented Plan is up to-date and current and is reflective of the bank’s overall recovery strategy. |
· Develop, review and approve DR project involvement and costing model |
· Participate and assist to conduct and document recovery requirements analysis. · Assist to document preliminary plan and cost procedures.

· Ensure on time DR project deliverables that meet client requirement and expectation. |

· Ensure timely delivery and completion of mandated DR activity. |
· Advance planning and scheduling. · Review activity plan to determine resource requirements. · Prepare and update activity plan for review. · Conduct briefing session to team members · Raise activity change and obtain relevant approvals. · Manage and coordinate execution. · Prepare activity report
