Description
Summary
To establish contact and develop business collaboration with prospects (business to business arrangement), as per target set by the Bank’s Management. Also, to discuss on business model / agreement / arrangement / sales activities etc. that will provide mutual benefits to both parties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial
- To drive business collaboration by promoting all retail products covering Deposits, Assets, Wealth and SME;
- To monitor and track sales performance of each business partners to ensure optimum penetration rate.
- To secure sales engagement activities from business partner for all segments i.e: Government, Non-Government, New Package Employers, Professional Associations, Hajj & Umrah, Synergy, Co-Brands and Non-Bumi.
Business & Strategies Execution
- To identify and secure new business opportunities, get to know clients, understand their needs and offer a financial solution that suit their needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, create positive relationships and sustain the business relationships.
- As a door opener to other staff of the Bank especially Personal Financial Executive (PFE), Personal Banker (PB), Sales Executive (SE), Branch Manager (BM), Retail Sales Manager (RSM) etc., to gain access and approach its employees, members, students or other community attached to the respective business partner by arranging the sales engagement activities.
- Actively work together with Branch Managers, Retails Sales Manager, State Director and other sales personnels to ensure the sales engagement activities being conducted successfully at their end.
- To plan and manage the overall day to day sales activities for better appointment efficiency, resource optimization and profit maximization.
- To work closely with Head Office/Strategic Business Relations and other departments/divisions in Bank Islam to execute strategic business alliance plans and ensure consistent synergy to elevate bank’s profitability and business sustainability.
- To explore and acquire new business for (Institutional/Organisation) for Salary Account / New Package Employers.
Risk & Compliance
- Accountable for unit / department overall performance on audits and compliance with the Bank’s policy, standard and procedures and other regulatory requirements;
- Ensure that the BNM / external / internal audit findings / compliance review / shariah reviews issues are timely addressed and rectified and ensure non-recurring of the same issues.
- Ensure all the sales engagement activities being updated in Business Opportunities & Sales Activities Report.
Customers
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with our Business Partners, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and working together with other sales teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Explore and identify business opportunities to increase the penetration rates.
Provide personalized advice, build rapport and provide quick responses to their inquiries
