Operation Support (Java)

Purpose of Role :

Responsible for operation and support of myASNB applications including myASNB App, myASNB Portal,
EMIS, myASNB Portal Admin, batch jobs, integration applications, bug fixes, application monitoring and
application deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
As described by the PNB ITD Head of Department and/or but not limited to the following:
• Oversee and monitor all application support and maintenance related issues.
• Responsible for support which includes incident management, service request (SR), asset
inventory, root cause analysis (RCA), daily/weekly/monthly application monitoring and
maintenance.
• Responsible for documentation such as SOP and RCA.
• Responsible for support processes that involve other systems such as FDS, EPS, APIGEE, Alibaba
Cloud and related departments.
• Respond to user help desk requests and monitor system stability and performance.
• Assess system data and error logs, along with user reports, to determine areas for improvement.
• Involve in activities such as Load/Stress Test and Pentest.
• Involve in SIT, UAT and TPA processes.
• Involve in enhancement processes including bug fixes.
• Proactively exhibit and apply high level of technical expertise to responsibilities and work
assignments.

Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Information Technology or related field.
• 3- 5 years of experience in the related field
• Proficient in Java / JavaScript / Groovy
• Proficient in Source Code Version Control such as GIT
• Well verse in handling operational issue and escalation.
• Experience in Oracle and MSSQL databases will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Web API development
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in Cloud Container Service
• Knowledge in Web or Mobile development
• Knowledge of web server infrastructure (IIS) and Cloud Services
• Understanding DevOps practice such as CI/CD
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite.
• Dedicated team player with the ability to deliver under pressure and perform within tight
deadlines

• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
• Good analytical, interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Willing to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
